Obtainment of Certification of International Standard �ISO14001� for Environment
We obtained and registered certification of "ISO4001" in July 2004, built our environmental management system in accordance with "Environmental Policies of Fuji Bakelite," and have continuously improved the system in consideration of environmental conservation in all aspects of company activities.

Principles
In order to maintain a sound living environment for all creatures of the global environment and communities, our Group has undertaken a commitment to contribute to the protection of resources and pollution prevention of the global environment in all aspects through business activities and company member activities.
Policies

Our group has manufacturing operations from die design, plastic molding, secondary processing to assembly of wiring breakers, car audio equipment, OA equipment, wattmeters and other electrical parts, and has design/development/manufacturing operations of various distribution protection instruments (mainly wiring breakers). We have widely provided these products at home and abroad and undertaken activities for insulation processing, weight savings, high performance, power savings, resource savings, etc., that play an important role in environmental conservation.

  1. As for the manufacturing of these products, our Group promotes efficient utilization of raw materials (plastic, iron, nonferrous metal, etc.), paper, electric power and others, and has undertaken a commitment in consideration of the impact on the global environment.

  2. Impact of business activities, products and services on the environment are appropriately grasped to prevent pollution, and environmental purpose/objectives are established and reviewed to promote continuous improvements in our performance and environmental management system.

  3. Environmental laws, ordinances and rules agreed to by our Group are observed.

  4. Environmentally-friendly manufacturing technology and resource saving processes are proactively introduced to reduce factors that impact energy, disposal and the environment.

  5. Activity policies for environmental problems are thoroughly disseminated to all company members through environmental education, internal public relations, etc., and an increase in environmental awareness is promoted.
